Riad LakLak was entirely renovated in 2011 with traditional Moroccan construction methods. Examples of Moroccan handicraft such as tadelakt (Moroccan wall painting technique with colors),
sculpted plaster and wooden ceilings are displayed in every room. All decoration items have been crafted by Moroccan artisans, some of them living next door in the Medina of Marrakesh.
In my blog Finding and Renovating a Riad in Marrakech I describe my experience in finding and renovating riad LakLak in Marrakech. Below you can find some of my blog entries.
